“We have been patients of Dr. Stroop’s for years! Both my boys had seriously crooked teeth (inherited from mom and dad) and needed long-term, extensive orthodontic work. Each child had a completely different treatment plan. (I will say the same for all the many people we know who are Stroop patients.) Every kid’s mouth is unique and every treatment plan is also. This is NOT one of those ‘tooth’ factory places that herds kids through like cattle. (Nor does Dr. Stroop automatically push the ‘two sets of braces’ plan that you hear so much about today. If he recommends that for your child, it’s because it is the very best way to treat that individual child’s teeth.) I like that in both cases, he gave us options as well, based on our budget and on each child’s personality. My boys are now 14 and 17. One has ‘graduated’ and is all done, as of a couple weeks ago. We will still be at least another year with the 14-year-old, checking in on retainer progress. We will be sad to finish up there! Everyone is great! After being patients there for more than ten years, it will seem strange to not pop in every month for a visit. My kids received excellent, individual care ... with people that feel like old family friends!”
